I liked the colour scheme sooo much I decided to try it out on a unit.

James Wappel did a splinter chapter for dark angels and I wanted to try the same thing this is the result :-

Every item has been magnetized for full customization also the person I am commissioning for wanted the option to have a loyalist imperial guard aswell as the choice to be traitor guard. 

He also likes being completely mixed Cadian, Catachan etc so I had to start thinking about colour schemes once I get onto his troops which will be next after this has been completed.

Weathering revisited...

Well the Valkyrie is finished but I think I might revisit to tidy up the weathering here are the latest photos. Snakes were inspired by James Wappel.

 

After all the shading and weathering this is what the Valkyrie looks like now :) Still have the men and base to finish.

After returning to Warhammer 40k after 16 years this was my first hand painted squad :)

First completed Dark Angel Space Marine with my new Airbrush basecoat colour scheme.

Again another handpainted example Librarian Turmiel, I may actually at some point revisit this model and play around with the cloak.

My very first almost completed Rhino just some weathering effects and detials to go.

And finally a closer look at my very first recovered Dreadnought.

I hope your all enjoying my blog at the moment for now though im going to be doing a lot of freehand detail stuff so my models will put up here every couple of days or so but stay tuned for some more pics :)
